Areti Suites Chania

Areti Suites opened its nine suites in Kathiana, a village on the Akrotiri Peninsula known for its long tradition of wine and raki making and home to a traditional cafe of its own. Five suites are fitted with twin beds and a sofa bed, four with a double bed and double sofa bed, making them workable for families as well as couples. Each has its own décor, a private balcony or terrace, and air conditioning included in the rate rather than charged as an extra. Outside the suites, a landscaped garden gives guests a quiet spot to sit, and an amphitheatre-style space in front of the hotel lets children play safely away from any road. Stavros Beach, the sandy lagoon where Zorba the Greek was filmed, lies about 6.7 km away on the peninsula's northern edge, while the Venetian-era Agia Triada Monastery and the fortified Gouverneto Monastery a few kilometres further on are within reach for an afternoon out. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and daily maid service, with room service available up to midnight for guests who prefer to stay in.
