This traditional Mykonian house sits in a low-key complex in Ornos, about 150 metres from Korfos Bay, where steady Meltemi winds from May to October have made it one of the island's premier kitesurfing and windsurfing spots. Ornos Beach itself is roughly 400 metres away, a sheltered bay protected by cliffs on both sides that keeps the water calm and shallow, popular with families for exactly that reason.
Inside, the house has two bedrooms, one open-plan, a living room and a single bathroom, with air conditioning fitted throughout and individually controlled in each room. Two private verandas give guests a quiet spot away from the shared pool, which is open from April to the end of October. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in rather than eating out every night, and high-speed Wi-Fi covers the whole house.
Ornos itself has tavernas, beach bars and watersports schools along the shorefront, plus a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy within a few minutes' walk, and a bus stop nearby for trips into Mykonos Town.
