Carme Villas Crete

Carme Villas sit among a 12,000 square metre olive grove in Adele, a village on the road to Arkadi Monastery, roughly eight kilometres east of Rethymno town. The setting is quiet, shaded by old olive trees, with the sea about 800 metres away and the town centre a ten-minute drive. From the villas, views open toward the coast on one side and toward Psiloritis, Crete's highest mountain, on the other.

Each of the twelve villas is recently built, offering marble bathrooms with steam cabins, private balconies or terraces, and a fireplace for cooler evenings. Daily maid service and room service until midnight are included, along with individually controlled air conditioning in each room and a kitchen for guests who prefer to cook. Pool and garden views complete the outlook from several rooms.

Adele itself keeps its rural character, with a small economy built on olive farming, livestock and tourism, alongside Venetian-era buildings and the village church of Agios Panteleimon. Sandy Adelianos Kambos beach lies within easy reach along the coast, while the Arkadi Monastery, with its sixteenth-century church, is a short drive further along the same road the village sits on.
