Lemon Tree Villa

Lemon Tree Villa sits in Prinos, a small village of about 200 residents near Rethymno, Crete. The 210 sqm property comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests across four en-suite bedrooms, each fitted with a queen-size bed, plus two attic rooms with double sofa beds for additional guests. Air conditioning is individually controlled throughout, and soundproof windows keep the bedrooms quiet regardless of activity outside. Outdoors, the private pool includes a plunge section, with optional heating available for guests visiting outside the warmer months. Sun loungers and umbrellas line the pool area, and a barbecue plus outdoor dining space make evening meals straightforward. Inside, the living room and lounge open onto a fully equipped kitchen, so guests can cook rather than dine out, with a fireplace on hand for cooler evenings. Scaleta, 500 metres away, has a mini market, tavernas and a swimming spot, while Stavromenos beach, a kilometre from the villa, is sandy with some pebbles and known as a nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles. Rethymno's old town, 15 kilometres off, adds Venetian architecture and a working harbour for a day trip beyond the village.
