Alkistis Sweet Homes Chania

Alkistis Sweet Homes sits in Stavros, on the Akrotiri Peninsula about 14–15 km east of Chania town, in the village known worldwide for its appearance in the 1964 film 'Zorba the Greek', filmed at the distinctive camel-shaped Mount Vardies. The village centre runs along the sandy beach itself, with tavernas and cafes on the waterfront a short walk from the complex, and the protected lagoon below the mountain offers powdery sand and clear turquoise water.

The complex itself is made up of three separate houses arranged around shared gardens, a swimming pool with sunbeds, a children's playground and a barbecue area, so groups can book more than one house and still keep their own space. The Rustic Chalet is a 75 m² stone-and-wood build with one bedroom, suited to a couple or small family. The Modern Detached Home offers 70 m² and two bedrooms with a contemporary layout, while the Cottage House, at 78 m², has two bedrooms, a sofa bed, and its own outdoor kitchen and barbecue, useful for a larger group that wants to cook and eat outside. Each house has a private terrace, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. Private parking is available on site, and Chania airport is roughly 25 minutes away by car, with a bus service running six times daily from Chania town.
