Studio with Old Town View

The studio sits directly above one of Chania's most walked Old Town streets, its narrow lanes shaped by centuries of Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman building. From the private balcony, guests watch the street below without joining its noise, since the room is soundproofed against the evening buzz. At 16 square meters it is built for two, with a double bed taking up most of the floor and a sitting area tucked beside it.

The Venetian Harbor, with its 16th-century lighthouse, lies nearby, lined with seafood tavernas and cafes along the waterfront. The Municipal Market, a cross-shaped building from 1913, is worth the detour, its counters stocked with olives, cheese, dried herbs, and fresh fish, plus a few taverna stalls inside for a quick lunch. Nea Chora Beach, a long stretch of sand with sunbeds and a small fishing harbor, sits about a kilometer away, roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk.

Back in the room, a flat-screen TV, coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi cover the basics, and the private bathroom keeps things straightforward for a short stay in the old town.
