Double Comfort

Double Comfort occupies one of ten suites in the newly renovated Amalthia collection, set in the heart of Polychrono. The sea is close: the organized, Blue Flag beach lies roughly 50 metres away, part of a seven-kilometre stretch of sand that runs the length of the village. Each suite pairs an anatomical mattress and a Nespresso machine with a private balcony or terrace, giving guests a quiet spot to unwind after the beach without leaving the property.

The location does the rest of the work. Restaurants, cafés and beach bars sit within a compact, walkable radius, and the waterfront promenade is lined with tavernas serving seafood and traditional Greek dishes alongside supermarkets and pharmacies for daily needs. Those wanting a change of pace can follow the Sani Walk, a pine-forest trail of about three kilometres linking Polychrono to Golden Beach.

Private parking is provided a short 200-metre walk from the suites, keeping the immediate surroundings car-free. With daily maid service, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi throughout, the suite suits couples or small groups after a comfortable, well-located base rather than a resort experience.
