102 - Deluxe Suite with Spa and Private Pool (1st Floor)

This first-floor suite at Dea Delport occupies a corner of a medieval building in Rethymno's Old Venetian Town, one of only four suites in the property and the only one with a private courtyard pool. A separate indoor jacuzzi offers a second place to relax, while the king-size bed and private balcony set the room apart from the shared pool terrace below.

Details are handled with care: a house bottle of wine and a fruit basket wait on arrival, the windows are double-glazed against harbor noise, and entry is secured by key card and code. Air conditioning, a writing desk and high-speed internet complete the room.

Step outside and the Venetian Harbor is close at hand, its fishing boats and tavernas set beneath the Egyptian Lighthouse, constructed in 1838 during the period of Egyptian occupation. The Old Town's cobblestone streets, lined with Venetian-era buildings and Ottoman minarets, lead toward the star-shaped Fortezza citadel to the west. Rethymno Beach's long sandy stretch begins just east of the Old Town.
