The village itself has an old quarter of stone houses and narrow lanes centred on a square with a plane tree, worth a wander for anyone curious about Sithonia before the coast built up. Restaurants and cafés are close by, including tavernas on the promenade and in Old Nikiti serving fresh seafood.
