Blue Diamond Suite with Hot Tub

The Blue Diamond occupies a quiet corner of Drios, a small fishing village on the southeast coast of Paros, some 25 kilometres from the main town of Parikia. Pirgaki beach sits just 50 metres away, close to the remains of a Bronze Age watchtower, and the walk into the village brings guests to a waterfront lined with fish restaurants, cafes, bars and a small supermarket, set around a quay.

Inside, the suite is built around a king size bed and a separate living area with a kitchenette equipped for simple meals at home. Air conditioning is individually controlled in each room, and a flat screen TV with satellite channels sits alongside a proper dining table for evenings in. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and the usual bath amenities, plus a hairdryer and full-length mirror for getting ready before heading out.

The real draw is the private terrace, where an outdoor jacuzzi looks out over one of the greenest villages in the Cyclades, still ringed by low vegetation and small crops. Both the sea and the village are within easy reach on foot, making the terrace a natural base for the day.
