Acrodise Estate

Acrodise Estate sits within a working vineyard on the southwestern tip of Santorini, in Akrotiri, about 9 kilometres from Fira. The 325 square metre villa is arranged over three levels, giving guests room to spread out — communal spaces for gathering at sunset, private corners for quiet moments. It was built to comfortably host up to 20 guests without losing the sense of quiet that drew its owners to this corner of the island in the first place. The surrounding vines are part of what makes Akrotiri distinctive: the volcanic soil here has long supported old, ungrafted vineyards, some over 150 years old, with a few root systems believed to be more than a thousand years old. A short distance away, Red Beach draws visitors for its volcanic cliffs in shades of rust and ochre, while White Beach and Bella Bay lie within a kilometre for those who prefer calmer, more secluded stretches of coast. History is close too — the excavated Minoan city of Akrotiri, buried since the eruption of 1600 BC, is one of the region's most significant archaeological sites. At the villa itself, the focus stays on space and the long view out to the Aegean, with fire-lit evenings extending the day well past sunset.
