Suite 101 is one of fifteen suites on a gentle slope above Rhodes, with the national road close at hand and the city centre only a short distance away. From the private balcony, the view runs downhill over rooftops to the walled medieval quarter, where the Palace of the Grand Master still stands over streets first laid out by the Knights of Saint John, and further out to the open blue of the Aegean. The old fortifications, among the best preserved of their kind and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, give the outlook a sense of depth rather than just distance.

Inside, the air conditioning can be set independently of the rest of the building, and soundproof windows keep street noise out. A sofa bed in the sitting area adds space for extra guests, while the bathroom's jacuzzi sits alongside the usual bath amenities. A mini-bar and coffee facilities are on hand for slower mornings, and daily maid service, a safe deposit box, and high-speed internet cover the practical side of the stay.
