Anthos Apartments in Plakias

Anthos Apartments sit on a small hill in Myrthianos, the village that overlooks Plakias Bay from its terraces and old stone houses. From here it is a level walk of about 500 metres down to the sandy Blue Flag beach of Plakias, over a kilometre long with clear turquoise water. Each apartment opens onto a private balcony or terrace facing the sea, the garden, or the communal pool, and several combine more than one of these views across the bay and surrounding hills.

Myrthianos is a small village with a handful of tavernas offering panoramic views, a cafeneio doubling as a mini market, and shops selling local jewellery and souvenirs, all within walking distance of the apartments. The Libyan Sea stretches out below, with mountains rising behind the village, and the surrounding countryside offers trekking and mountain walks.

Inside, the apartments are simply furnished and self-contained. Each has an equipped kitchenette, dining table, and sofa bed, along with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Housekeeping and a safe deposit box are provided, and the family who run Anthos are on hand to help guests settle in and offer local recommendations.
