Afytos sits on a hilltop above the Toroneos Gulf, one of the oldest settlements on the Kassandra Peninsula, its lanes still lined with the stone-built houses that give the village its character. This second-floor suite takes advantage of that position: thirty square metres arranged around a queen-sized bed and sofa bed, with a private balcony that looks out over the gulf toward Sithonia.

The room pairs Mediterranean architecture with a deliberately spare interior — a marble bathroom, a stocked mini-bar, a writing desk by the window, and a fully equipped kitchenette for guests who prefer not to eat out every night. A bottle of wine and a fruit basket are left on arrival, and daily maid service, along with round-the-clock room service, keeps things simple during the stay.

Down in the village, tavernas with their own sea views serve the daily catch, and the narrow streets hold small galleries, craft shops, and stalls selling local products. It is an easy walk to the shore, where Afytos Beach offers calm, clear water and a sandy and pebble shoreline popular with families, and a short drive covers the busier resorts and beaches further along the peninsula.
