Suite with Sea View

Kalamitsi sits at the southern end of the Sithonia peninsula, and these two recently renovated suites face the village's main beach, a blue flag stretch known for calm, shallow water that suits families well. From the balcony the sea view stretches across the bay, with the breeze noticeable both at sunrise and later in the day, and the beach itself is a short walk down, not a drive.

Inside, each suite is fitted with air conditioning and soundproof windows, useful when the village fills up in high season, along with a flat-screen TV, a coffee setup that includes an Illy machine, and a small kitchen corner with chinaware and silverware for simple meals on site. A sofa bed adds flexibility for an extra guest.

Along the two main beaches, about 15 tavernas open through the summer months, among them Taverna Zorbas and Ammos Kalamitsi Restaurant, both serving Greek dishes and seafood within easy reach on foot. Offshore, a scatter of rocky islets gives the bay a natural feel and makes for decent snorkelling on a quiet afternoon.
