Soundproof windows frame mountain views and keep the room quiet despite the village life below, while a walk-in shower with a marble-tiled finish completes the room's practical comforts.

Outside, the sandy beach for which Georgioupoli is known begins just 100 metres from the entrance and continues for kilometres east toward Rethymno. The village itself sits where three rivers, including the Almiros, meet the sea to form a small harbour used by fishing and tourist boats, and the whitewashed chapel of Agios Nikolaos stands at the end of its causeway nearby. The town square, a short walk away, is lined with tavernas and cafés with outdoor seating, giving easy access to authentic Cretan meals without a car.

Back at the suite, a private patio offers a quieter spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, with air conditioning, heating, and wifi covering the essentials year-round.
