Imerovigli sits on the caldera rim, earning its local name as the balcony of Santorini, and the Siren Suite makes the most of that position. Set on the middle level of the complex, the room opens to a private balcony where the heated outdoor jacuzzi looks straight across to the volcano and, after dark, to the lights of Thirassia Island. Inside, red and clear glass mosaic lines the bathroom, and a queen-size bed faces the same view through the glass.

The village itself has no commercial strip or souvenir shops, and there is no direct beach access from the cliffs, which keeps it noticeably quieter than Fira or Oia. What it does have is Skaros Rock, the ruined Venetian fortress just below, reached by a short trail from Agios Georgios Church, and a run of tavernas and fine-dining rooms that trade the bustle of the capital for caldera views of their own.
