Set on the middle level of the complex, high on Imerovigli's caldera rim, the Golden Echo suite is dressed in gold and black with a mosaic-tiled bathroom and a golden-tiled indoor Jacuzzi. The living room holds a daybed piled with cushions, while the king-size bedroom sits beneath a five-metre domed ceiling that carries the faintest echo of a whispered conversation. A private heated outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony faces the sunset, with views stretching to Oia, the volcano caldera and the scattered islets on the horizon.

Imerovigli sits at the highest point of the caldera rim, drawing fewer visitors than Oia or Fira despite comparable views. Skaros Rock, the ruined 13th-century Venetian stronghold, is within walking distance for those wanting to explore beyond the terrace.

The suite includes individually controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi, with daily maid service and a welcome drink on arrival. A safe deposit box and electronic locks are also provided, along with the other conveniences guests expect from a well-equipped stay on the caldera.
